Scrubber Inspection & Maintenance

• Inspect packing, mesh pads, mist eliminator and nozzles for pluggage and deterioration
• Inspect recirculation pump for operation and wear
• Inspect plumbing components for leaks.
• Clean mesh pads, packing etc if required
• Repair all leaks and cracks
• Fan Inspection & Maintenance
• Inspect bearings for grease and service
• Check fan belts for tension and wear
• Check sheaves for alignment
• Check integrity and balance of fan wheel and shaft
• Check steel base for corrosion
• Repair all leaks and cracks
• Balance fan wheel if required
• System and Controls Inspection
• Check draw at hoods
• Check air flows
• Inspect duct and hoods for integrity, leaks and cracks
• Inspect differential pressure gauges and tubing
• Inspect operation of solenoid valves
• inspect operation of pH, ORP, level control systems
• Do all necessary repairs and adjustments to controls, welds, etc.
